Human Rights Watch has been documenting human rights abuses in Gaza since 1991.
UNITED NATIONS:
On May 10th, the United Nations General Assembly voted with an overwhelming majority (143-9 with 25 abstaining) to grant new rights and privileges to Palestine. They called on the Security Council to reconsider Palestine’s request to become the 194th member of the United Nations.
INTERNATIONAL COURT OF JUSTICE:
South Africa is seeking new emergency measures for an immediate withdraw of Israel troops in the midst of their ongoing case alerting the world to genocide in Palestine.
NATIONAL RECOGNITION:
Ireland, Spain, and Norway have declared that they will recognize Palestine as a State.
